BlockAide™ fluid repellant is a water & oil repellent textile coating that can be applied by spaying or in the washwheel. BlockAide™ is a fluoroaliphatic polymer emulsion with exceptional emulsion stability. The exceptional film forming properties of BlockAide™ fluid repellant will promote outstanding water and oil repellency, without affecting breathability, over a wide range of applications.
BlockAide™ is Non-Flammable, and does not contain or release ozone depleting chlorofluorocarbons (CFC’s), alkylphenol ethoxylates (APE’s), and does not release formaldehyde. BlockAide™ fluid repellant coating does not contain perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS).
BlockAide™ provides durable protection that lasts through multiple launderings and commercial dry cleaning cycles to provide long lasting water and oil repellency with fabric protection. BlockAide™ fluid repellant is excellent for use on a wide range of natural & synthetic fabrics and is suitable for; healthcare apparel, foul weather gear, and tents, tarps and other protective items.
